Maggie Grace is an American actress born Margaret Grace Denig in 1983. Her best-known roles include Shannon Rutherford, a character in ABC's Lost series as well as Kim Mills from the Taken trilogy. Maggie Grace was born in Worthington in Ohio, dropped out high school and moved to Los Angeles after her divorced parents. Grace reprised the role as Shannon in two episodes of Lost as well as the show's finale. The year was 2013, and she appeared in the sixth series of Californication. Her next roles were in Adaptation Confessions of a Dangerous Mind in 2002, as well as Mona Lisa Smile (2003). Gyllenhaal's first film as a writer and director took place in 2021, with The Lost Daughter, a psychological thriller for which she received an award at the Venice International Film Festival Best Screenplay Award. The film also received the Academy Award nomination for Best Adapted Screenplay.
